We are delighted to welcome you to our hotel. We want to make sure that your stay is as pleasant and smooth as possible. In this guide you will find all the important information about our accommodation

Booking

Book your stay directly on our website – we offer you the best price. If this is still not the case, please contact us via the contact form with a screenshot. In addition, we can easily make changes or adjustments to direct bookings for you. For bookings via third-party providers, changes must be made via the respective platform.

As a company, you can register your employees without them having to do anything themselves.

Bookings can be made by anyone over the age of 18 and are always made online. No bookings are made by telephone accepted.

Stays from 60 nights are considered long-term stays and receive special conditions. You can find these on our website at Long-term stays. Send us a no-obligation inquiry and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

For bookings from 60 nights a deposit is required. This will be refunded after moving out, provided there are no damages. In special cases we reserve the right to charge a deposit for stays of any length.

The booking confirmation you will receive directly after booking by e-mail and, depending on the booking platform, in the chat. These do not yet contain any access information. The access data you will receive on the day of arrival.

The following services are included in your booking:

  • Self check-in from 14:00
  • Self check-out until 10:00 am
  • All ancillary costs (electricity, heating, water)
  • Tourist tax
  • Value added tax
  • Use of washroom and service room
  • WLAN
  • Access to the shared roof terrace
  • Final cleaning (except kitchen and kitchen utensils)

For bookings of 1 to 30 nights, the cancellation period is 7 days. For bookings of 31 nights or more, the deadline is 30 days. Cancellation must be via contact form and only becomes valid with our confirmation.

Arrival

It is best to arrive by public transport, as we do not have our own parking spaces. If you are traveling by car, we recommend the following parking options:

Public parking spaces (blue zone / EBZ)
Parking garage Oberer Graben
Raiffeisen parking garage
Einstein parking garage
Central parking garage

The accommodation is just 800 meters from St. Gallen train station. You can reach us on foot in approx. 10 – 15 minutes.The 11 bus direction Abacus-Platz will also take you in only 7 minutes to the bus stop “Stiftsbezirk” from there it is only a 90 meter (1 min.) walk to the accommodation.

Check-in

On the day of arrival you will receive the access code to the key box by 14:00 by e-mail.

Check-in is from 14:00 o’clock.

Early check-in can be booked on our booking platform until 6 p.m. the day before.

The key boxes are located in the entrance area (red door) and are labeled.

  1. Enter the code on the key box and pull gently on the flap.
  2. Remove the key and close the box again.
  3. Set the numerical code to 0000.
  4. Enter the stairwell and follow the signs.

To store your luggage safely, we recommend that you use theluggage storage at St. Gallen main station. We do not offer our own service to store luggage before or after check-in/check-out

During the stay

You can book various additional services. Would you like a one-off intermediate clean or a weekly clean? Would you like new towels and Shower towels?Take a look at our services and book your additional service.

The free “LAUNDRY” launderette is located on the first floor and has washing machines and tumble dryers. Detergent is available in the adjoining service room (access with the “service” key from your kitchen).

You can deposit your household waste as well as PET, glass and cardboard in our service room (access with the “service” key from your kitchen). We will dispose of it professionally for you.

We do not have an elevator.

A bicycle room is available for the safe storage of your bicycle. The bike room is located to the left of the entrance with the house number 10. Nevertheless, please always lock your bike separately.

For our guests there is a roof terrace with comfortable seating on the roof. Please leave the terrace as you would like to find it. Follow the signs to the roof terrace.

For long-term guests (from 60 nights), we offer the option of applying for an official registration address with us. In addition, a personal mailbox can be set up on request. Please let us know when you make your booking if you would like a registration address / letterbox.

Have you discovered damage or a defect in your apartment? Please report this to us using contact form and we will take care of it as soon as possible.

We do not offer breakfast in the house, but only 100 meters from our apartments the Hotel Einstein invites you to a delicious breakfast buffet. Our guests enjoy a special price of CHF 30 there. Book your breakfast voucher with the services.

  1. Clean all used kitchen utensils and cookware and then put them away in their designated place.
  2. Deposit your household waste, PET, glass and cardboard in our service room (access with the “service” key from your kitchen).
  3. Please close all doors and windows before leaving and make sure that all appliances and lights are switched off.
  4. Look back! Did you leave anything behind?
  5. Put the key back in the key box.
  6. Enter the access code on the key box and pull lightly on the flap.
  7. Place the key in the box and lock it again.
  8. Set the code to 0000.

We are delighted to welcome you to our hotel. We want to make sure that your stay is as pleasant and smooth as possible. In this guide you will find all the important information about our accommodation

Booking

Book your stay directly on our website – we offer you the best price. If this is still not the case, please contact us via the contact form with a screenshot. In addition, we can easily make changes or adjustments to direct bookings for you. For bookings via third-party providers, changes must be made via the respective platform.

As a company, you can register your employees without them having to do anything themselves.

Bookings can be made by anyone over the age of 18 and are always made online. No bookings are made by telephone accepted.

Stays from 60 nights are considered long-term stays and receive special conditions. You can find these on our website at Long-term stays. Send us a no-obligation inquiry and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

For bookings from 60 nights a deposit is required. This will be refunded after moving out, provided there are no damages. In special cases we reserve the right to charge a deposit for stays of any length.

The booking confirmation you will receive directly after booking by e-mail and, depending on the booking platform, in the chat. These do not yet contain any access information. The access data you will receive on the day of arrival.

The following services are included in your booking:

Arrival

It is best to arrive by public transport, as we do not have our own parking spaces. If you are traveling by car, we recommend the following parking options:

Raiffeisen parking garage
Einstein parking garage
Central parking garage

The accommodation is just 800 meters from St. Gallen train station. You can reach us on foot in approx. 10 – 15 minutes.The 11 bus direction Abacus-Platz will also take you in only 7 minutes to the bus stop “Stiftsbezirk” from there it is only a 90 meter (1 min.) walk to the accommodation.

Check-in

On the day of arrival you will receive the access code to the key box by 14:00 by e-mail.

Check-in is from 14:00 o’clock.

Early check-in can be booked on our booking platform until 6 p.m. the day before.

The key boxes are located in the entrance area (red door) and are labeled.

  1. Enter the code on the key box and pull gently on the flap.
  2. Remove the key and close the box again.
  3. Set the numerical code to 0000.
  4. Enter the stairwell and follow the signs.

During the stay

You can book various additional services. Would you like a one-off intermediate clean or a weekly clean? Would you like new towels and Shower towels?Take a look at our services and book your additional service.

The free “LAUNDRY” launderette is located on the first floor and has washing machines and tumble dryers. Detergent is available in the adjoining service room (access with the “service” key from your kitchen).

You can deposit your household waste as well as PET, glass and cardboard in our service room (access with the “service” key from your kitchen). We will dispose of it professionally for you.

We do not have an elevator.

A bicycle room is available for the safe storage of your bicycle. The bike room is located to the left of the entrance with the house number 10. Nevertheless, please always lock your bike separately.

For our guests there is a roof terrace with comfortable seating on the roof. Please leave the terrace as you would like to find it. Follow the signs to the roof terrace.

For long-term guests (from 60 nights), we offer the option of applying for an official registration address with us. In addition, a personal mailbox can be set up on request. Please let us know when you make your booking if you would like a registration address / letterbox.

Have you discovered damage or a defect in your apartment? Please report this to us using contact form and we will take care of it as soon as possible.

We do not offer breakfast in the house, but only 100 meters from our apartments the Hotel Einstein invites you to a delicious breakfast buffet. Our guests enjoy a special price of CHF 30 there. Book your breakfast voucher with the services.
